Legal/Labor Issues

Arbitration for Deputy Baab reference has been completed and a Memorandum of Understanding is being prepared. Information will be discussed at the January 4, 2005, FOP Meeting.

We need to start documenting times when districts go below the minimal staffing levels. This is a serious safety issue that needs to be addressed.

ALL members of the Sheriff’s Office are encouraged to take an FOP representative with them to ALL Special Investigations interview whether you are the focus or a witness. All it takes is an incomplete answer whether a witness or a focus. You have rights!
