- Labor Issues:

- President Baab advised that we are currently in contract negotiations with
management. Everyone is coming to the table with a positive attitude
with the finance issue being one of the major issues. The issue will be
taken to mediation.

- Anyone wishing contract information should contact one of the contract
negotiators.

- There are still several pending grievances and issues.
-
- It is urged that all Deputies take an Ohio
Labor Council representative with them to ALL investigation
interviews.

- FOP Representation Training:
-
- Training in Officer rights April 14-16, 2004. Training is held in Las
Vegas, Nevada. Cost of the training is $450/person plus room, airfare,
and per diem.

- Brother Brady made a motion to send 4 representatives from Lodge #104.

- Leadership Training:

- Training for the Executive Board February 19-22, 2004. Training is held in
Nashville, Tennessee. Cost of the training is $150/person plus room and per
diem.

Building Committee:
If you borrow items from the Lodge, put the items taken
on the bulletin board located near the kitchen area.
Executive Board will decide on the building key
situation.
Rental of the lodge will stay at $50 with the rental date
book to be kept by Brother Zurn.

For the Good of the Order:
Antonio Bayot was in town visiting from Spain. Antonio is
a retired police officer from the Centerville Police Department. Antonio gave a
very heart felt speech on the war in Iraq and the members of our Armed Service
men and women fighting next to Spain’s troops.
We have FOP drinking mugs, t-shirts, bumper stickers, and
emblems still
available while supplies last.
