We will hold an election on November 10, 2004, from 7a.m. until 4 p.m. at D7, D10 and D15 for all road patrol assigned Deputies to vote, to select 6 of the above named 10 candidates.

A meeting will follow with OLC Attorney Gwen Callender sometime in later November to prepare for the hearing in December in Columbus.

Brother Shively, Brother Brady and Brother Poulton will work the polls. We will request that the members who work the polls be relieved of duty on November the 10th so they will not have to work a double or miss work.

We need to start documenting times when districts go below the minimal staffing levels. This is a serious safety issue that needs to be addressed.

ALL members of the Sheriff’s Office are encouraged to take an FOP representative with them to ALL Special Investigations interview whether you are the focus or a witness. All it takes is an incomplete answer whether a witness or a focus. You have rights!
