Minutes of the FOP meeting held September 7, 2004 Meeting called to order at 1930 hours by Vice President Baab. Brother P. Snyder gave the opening prayer. Pledge of Allegiance by Brother M. Thomas. Roll call of Lodge Officers by Brother Bemis. Secretary’s Report Motion made by Brother Bemis to accept the August meeting minutes as taken by Brother Snyder. Second by Brother Gardner. Motion passed. Treasurer’s Report Reported by Brother Poulton. Motion by Brother Geisel to accept as read. Second by many. Motion passed. Labor Several grievances still pending. 5/2 rotating schedule. Brother Baab filed a grievance based on hardship of the schedule. Phil Dills’ lawsuit against the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office and the FOP. New Business NONE Old Business NONE Chaplains Report See report (SEE WEBSITE) Second by many.
Committee Reports Building Committee Motion made by Brother Britton to have nothing of the Lodge’s is to leave the Lodge. Second by Brother Bergman. Motion passed. Charitable Contributions Committee NONE Membership committee NONE
For the Good of the Order $1500 to be set aside for the FOP #104 Annual Christmas Party. Second by many. Motion passed. Motion by Keith Lowery to require a $50 deposit and $50 for rental. Second by Brother Zurn. Motion passed. Concealed Carry Law will be discussed at the October meeting. 50/50 Won by Sister Haas. Brother Poulton made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Second by many. Motion passed.
