Treasurer’s Report NONE
Legal/Labor Issues We lost Sister Hewitt’s Arbitration. The report that we received was incomplete, so we will have further details as soon as possible. As most of you all may know, Brother Blackwell was acquitted. Administration gave Brother Blackwell an offer that he rejected so his arbitration is scheduled for June 15th. The O.L.C. will be contacting management regarding their position on light duty as it pertains to pregnant female employees (and the administration not "having to" give light duty to a pregnant female employee). Two bargaining members are currently pregnant, and there is a Supreme Court ruling (in our favor) on this issue.
New Business NONE
Old Business: We are currently planning on hosting the Sunday night Hospitality Night tent at this year’s State Conference. This will be Sunday July 23rd. We will need volunteers to help serve beverages and clean up. All volunteers will receive a t-shirt.
Chaplain’s Report Brother Ridgeway made a motion to accept report as read. Second by Sister Gardiner. No Discussion Motion passed. As always, please keep your fellow brothers and sisters in your prayers!
Charitable Contributions Committee Brother Snyder reported that it is time for the annual Torch Run for the Special Olympics. Every year the SWAT team participates in the run. A motion was made for the Lodge to donate $500 to support the SWAT team in this event. As previously decided, all Charitable Contributions are being tabled for review by the committee. However, this it an event sanctioned by the State Lodge and as such the motion to donate $500 passed.
Social Committee Brother Statzer reported that Sunday August 6, 2006 is F.O.P. Day for the Cincinnati Reds. Game time is 1:15pm, and it will be the Reds vs. the Braves. We are looking into getting a large bus for a group outing to the game. Look for flyers to be posted soon. Brother Statzer is also looking into a second Reds game/outing and possibly getting a Suite at the field. Further details coming soon.
PAC Committee NONE

For the Good of the Order We have received information from Nationwide Mortgage that they will beat anyone’s offer or give you $300. Brother Bemis is trying to arrange a meeting with Representatives of a new retirement plan that is strongly supported by the State Lodge. Brother Ridgeway reported that he hosted another ‘Breakfast with the Chaplain’ that went very well. We are still looking to boost attendance at the breakfasts.
