Motion by Sister Geiger to accept the November minutes as posted on the
website.
Motion by Brother Poulton to accept Treasurer’s Report as read
Brother Josh Haas was recently involved in an on-duty shooting. Several issues arose as a result of this situation including an ordered walk-through, ordered report, ammunition issues, and the management’s unwillingness to read Brother Haas his Garrity Rights. These issues are being addressed. Several Investigations have come up recently regarding LEADS violations. One issue that has come up as a result of these investigations is the severity of the punishment received by two of the deputies. There will be a grievance filed on behalf of these deputies. A grievance has also been filed regarding the promotional process. A grievance has been filed and will go to arbitration on Brother Matt Poulton’s behalf unless an agreement is reached. A grievance has been filed on Brother Bryan Crowe’s behalf regarding his recent termination.
NONE Old Business: Brother Snyder made a motion to send 6 delegates lodging/PerDiem to the
Leadership Seminar in Nashville. February 9-12, 2008 in Nashville, TN
Motion by Brother Ridgeway to accept his report as read.
Brother Snyder reported that FOP/PAL will be holding the annual gift
giving at Children’s Hospital on December 19, 2007 at 1400 hrs.
Brother Ridgeway reported that the Annual Children’s Christmas Party
will be December 15, 2007 from 1200-1800. Anyone who can help, please
let Brother Ridgeway know.

Brother Zurn reported that on December 8, 2007 we will be having Breakfast with the Chaplain in conjunction with some lodge “sprucing-up”. Breakfast is 0800. If we continue into the afternoon, we will order pizza and beer. Wear old clothes and be ready for good food, good friends, and some painting! Brother Statzer reported that he would like to purchase some new furniture for the Lodge. Brother Statzer will get some prices on furniture and will report back at the January meeting.
Brother Poulton made a motion for the Lodge to spend not more than $2000
to update the office. Brother Concannon reported that the winter board meeting is coming up
in January 11-12, 2008 at Cherry Valley Lodge. Brother Concannon report the election results. Johnny Campbell, Laura
Gardiner, Matt Snyder, Mark Zurn, and Linda Shutts were elected to the
position of Trustee’s. 2008 Scholarships will go to: Dep. Mike Williams on behalf of son, Brett; Jolene Holtz on behalf of daughter Chauncie; Curtis Laravie on behalf of his daughter, Katie; Dee Osterfeld on behalf son, Justin; Gary Ridgeway on behalf of son, Logan. Brother Statzer would like to host a BCS game party at the Lodge on January
7, 2007. Members Only. Motion by Brother Gardiner to change the January meeting from January
1, 2008 to January 8, 2008. Sister Geiger made a motion to issues one Outstanding Service Award quarterly
to members. Sister Geiger made a motion to issue one Exceptional Service Award Annually
to a member.
