Legal/Labor Issues:

Brother Bergman reports we are still waiting on the date when the schedule change will take effect.  Chief Nolan advised the earliest the schedule could take effect would be the first Garcia period after the end of prime vacation time.  Some have been told the schedule would take effect in October.  Brother Bergman would like to have in writing when the schedule will go into effect, but nothing has been set.  Brother Bergman advised everything dealing with the new schedule has been going by seniority, for example, the positions at D-7 that will remain on an X schedule.  If anyone has any issues, please feel free to call any member of the Board.

Brother Bergman advised the OLC has been busy with several investigations that have been going on.  Brother Bergman advised there have been investigations where the OLC has not been contacted, which is not advisable.  If there is any investigation where the result is suspension or termination, Mark Drum will be involved.
